Second Group of Internship Students from Thailand

Participating Universities:
・Mahidol University – 2 students
・Panyapiwat Institute of Management – 4 students

Internship Period:September–November 2025

Following the first group, T-MEC welcomed the second group of internship students from Thailand starting in September

This time, in addition to engineering students, we also accepted students from the Japanese language program and implemented training programs tailored to each student’s academic field. The engineering and environmental engineering students accompanied our staff to construction sites to observe our specialized construction methods in actual operation. They also gained hands-on experience using measurement equipment during building inspections, focusing on practical, on-site training. At the students’ request, opportunities to learn about structural calculations were also provided. Despite this being outside their university specialization, their proactive attitude toward learning was very impressive.

The students demonstrated a highly positive learning attitude and strong adaptability, and their improvement in Japanese language skills was clearly noticeable even within the short period of the program. They also actively challenged themselves with specialized and demanding tasks, gaining a wide range of knowledge and practical experience over the approximately three-month internship.

This internship marked the final program for this fiscal year. From next year, in addition to students from Thailand, we plan to welcome new interns from Indonesia as well. T-MEC will continue to cherish our international connections and remain committed to promoting the internationalization of the local community and fostering globally minded human resources through our ongoing efforts.
