Launch of the First Internship Program for Students from Thailand

Participating Universities:
・Chulalongkorn University, Faculty of Engineering – 5 students
・Mahidol University, Faculty of Engineering – 3 students

Internship Period:June–August 2025

T-MEC has launched its first overseas internship program this fiscal year, welcoming students from Thailand.

During the internship period, our employees served as instructors, providing lectures and hands-on training on technologies and construction methods directly related to the industry, such as seismic reinforcement and exterior wall work. In addition to classroom learning, students had the opportunity to experience operating the latest survey instruments and to visit actual construction sites—valuable experiences that allowed them to connect the theories learned at university with real-world practice.

This initiative was conducted in collaboration with the Global Human Resource Development Program at Ehime University. The students also participated in Japanese language courses designed for international students, as well as classes on everyday conversation, business etiquette, and disaster prevention in Japan. Through interactions with Ehime University students and other international students of the same generation, they not only created meaningful memories in Japan but also gained clearer goals for their future.

We were greatly impressed by the students’ high motivation and proactive attitude toward learning and communication. Their enthusiasm provided valuable inspiration to our employees and brought new energy to our company.

T-MEC will continue to accept internship students in the future, contributing to the internationalization of the local community and promoting global human resource development through our ongoing efforts.
